The entire drill pad areas and reclaimed roads will be re-seeded using the
USFS/CDMG-agreed seed mix (described below) for reclamation purposes on
National Forest Service lands (correspondence regarding MCC 2005 Annual
Operating Plan dated May 13, 2005 from Levi Broyles, USFS to Mike Peacock,
MCC).

USFS/CDMG-Agreed Seed Mix -- Mountain Shrub Habitat Type
S ecies PLS lb/acre % Of Mix
Mountain bromeerass 3 14
Prairie 'uneerass 2 10
Western wheat2rass 4 19
Indian ricearass 3 14
SandburQ blue ass 3 14
Bluebunch wheatarass 3 14
Eri eron s eciosus 1 a roxunate 5
Coreo sis la~aceolata 1 a roxunate 5
Thermo sis montana 1 a roxunate 5
Total 20 100
This seed mixture will be a minimum of 99 percent pure live seed containing a
maximum of 1 percent weeds none of which are noxious. The pad areas will be fertilized (25-5-5, minimum NPK), seeded with the approved
seed mix, and mulched (certified weed-free straw or erosion control blankets).
7. The low volume roads (a typical design is shown in Figure No. 4) will be restored as
closely as possible to the approximate original contour, re-seeded, fertilized, and mulched
as above. "The low volume roads (which will be temporary), if required to be
decommissioned by obliteration in the FS decision document, will be reclaimed....", as
not all the project low volume roads will be obliterated, rather the FS identified some may
be decommissioned to ATV trails to support the post-mining land use.
8. The drill pads and low-volume roads reclamation procedure outlined above will apply
only to those areas newly disturbed for this proposed project. Existing roads will be
]1
