The owners and controllers of TCC are currently not known by any names other than those
provided in Exhibit 47.
(e) The application number or other identifier of, and the regulatory authority for, any
other ep ndine surface coal mining operation permit application filed by the person in any state in the
United States.
RESPONSE
Information required by Rules 2.03.4 (3) (d), and (e) is presented in Exhibit 47.
~) For any surface coal minim operation owned or controlled by either the applicant of by
any person who owns or controls the applicant under the definition of "owned or controlled" and "owns
and controls" in 1.04.(83a ,the operation's:
(a) Name, address, identifying numbers, including employer identification number,
Federal or State Hermit number, the regulatory authority, MSHA number, and the date of issuance of the
MSHA number: and
(b) Ownership or control relationship to the applicant, includingpercenta~e of
• ownership and location in organizational structure.
RESPONSE
The ultimate U.S. parent of TCC is Peabody Energy Corporation. Information required by Rules
2.03.4 (4) (a) and (b) is presented in Exhibit 47.
(5) After an applicant is notified that his or her application is approved, but before the permit
is issued, the applicant shall, as applicable, update, correct or indicate that no change has occurred in the
information previously submitted under 2.03.4 (1 throu~(42
