If during the construction, the soil, bedrock and groundwater <br />conditions appear to be different from those described herein, a reevaluation of the, recommendations <br />should be made by this office. We recommend that the construction of the earthen embankments and liner <br />be conducted under the continuous inspection of a representative of this office to insure the appropriate use <br />of the correct soils, as well as proper placement and compaction. Continuous supervision also permits a <br />careful study of the conditions exposed during excavation and it is possible to recognize under seepage <br />problems not indicated during the field investigation. <br />It is advisable that a contractor familiaz with construction details typically used far the local subsoils and <br />climatic conditions be retaine o construct the structure.
