If test does not fail, report "No Discharge" for "WY.."
If for ceriodaphnia, the IC25 fails, but the Stat Diff passes, it is a passed test.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Kelly
>>> "Jones, Dennis D." <DJones(@PeabodyEnergy.com> 1/15/2009 10:36 AM >>>
Tania,
Thanks for sending me these comments. However, the comments provided here for the WY..
series DMRs do NOT indicate that both species need to fail the lethality statistically signif
diff. for this DMR to be filled out. They way it is written, if either species fails, then
one may NOT report a "no discharge".
Before I fill out and sign these DMRs, I need from the Division a written explanation as to
what exactly constitues a "no discharge" for the WY.. series DMRs. The comments provided
below are ambiguous at best. Sorry to be a pain, but I am legally responsible for filling
and signing DMRs that are correct to the best of my knowledge.
Thank you,
Dennis Jones
Seneca Coal Company
970-276-5209
-----Original Message----- ,
From: TANIA A Watson [mailto:tawatson@cdphe.state.co.us]
Sent: Thursday, January 15, 2009 09:54
To: Jones, Dennis D.
Subject: Chronic WET testing comments
WTAX through WTIX:
Rpt results of lethality derivations as "%effect", growth and reprodu derivations as
"toxicity".
