R,FF-0FP <br />DEC 17 2007 <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Nafety <br />December 10, 2007 <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Bob Oswald <br />701 Camino Del Rio, Room 325 <br />Durango, CO 81301 <br />V ? <br />RE: Gallegos Pit, Permit M-1983, 164, 112c Conversion Application CN-1 <br />Dear Bob, <br /> <br />1/1 <br />V ?cC <br />1 3 2®®7 <br />On Irv c, ra-m: <br />In regards to the above named application enclosed is the response to the following questions. <br />1) For the mining plan, the depth of the pit will be 25 feet. <br />2) The depth of the topsoil stripped prior to excavation will be 8" to 12". <br />3) The topsoil will be stored on the north side of the pit on future sites. <br />4) The maximum slope gradient will be 10:1. <br />5) The boundary of the pit will be 20-25' from the fenceline. <br />6) Any temporary structures that are present during mining will be removed during reclamation- <br />7) The revegetation plan is to be the same at that which originally existed under the plan thkot CDOT <br />Filed. <br />8) We would like to reclaim 3 acres at a time as mining progresses. <br />Please let me know if you have any futher questions.
