Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Permit No.M-1981-058,relintinary Adequacy Review of Technical Revision No. 3 L/ <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) has reviewed the application for a technical revision to <br />the above referenced 112 permit. The purpose of the technical revision is to revise the mine plan phasing and to <br />incorporate an increase of the total disturbed acreage 10.8 acres to 23 acres, increase exposed groundwater surface <br />area from 3.6 acres to 11.6 acres and to relocate the crusher and stockpile area to the southeast portion of the <br />permit area. <br />1) Please provide a detailed figure that indicates the proposed direction of mining and the proposed shape of <br />the pit created by the excavation. <br />2) Please clarify whether or not the entire 8 acres of the crusher and stockpile area will be disturbed. <br />The technical revision cannot be approved until the issues are adequately addressed. Please submit a response to <br />the issues as soon as possible but no later than February 4, 2009, so the decision date of February 13, 2009 can be <br />met.
