The Seeded Areas are illustrated on Exhibit 2; Topsoiled and Seeded Summary. Notes: 1. The values provided above were determined by reconciling all known records at the Edna Mine. While these values may not be consistent with values provided in previous annual reclamation reports, they do represent the areas provided on Exhibit 4.4-2 of the permit with the exception of the value provided above for 1991. Exhibit 4.4-2 indicates this acreage as 1990 (Moffat Pond embankment). Most of the other discrepancies are the result of mapping and planimeter errors, and oversights (i.e., miscellaneous acreage omitted or assigned to the incorrect year) in previous years. It should also be noted that this reconciliation does not impact the bond liability period for any areas as the extended liability for all areas began on January 1, 1997. 2. Excludes acres where Phase III has been achieved. Bond Release Number SL-5 has reached Bond Phase III. This decreased the Cumulative Total by 53.1 acres for 1981 and by 10.5 acres for 1988. Bond Release Number SL-8 has reached Bond Phase III. This decreased the Cumulative Total by 4.2 acres for 1996. Only a portion of Bond Release Number SL-8 was seeded. 6 of 8
