The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) has finished its review of
the Bowie No. 1 Mine application for Permit Renewal No. 5, submitted by Bowie Resources
LLC (BRL). The following are the Division's adequacy review questions and comments for this
permit renewal.
Section 2.03.4, Identification of Interests
1. Please update the identification of interests information that is required in Sections
2.03.4(1) through (10) of the permit application, where applicable. The updates should
include, but not be limited to, ownership and control information that is required in
Section 2.03.4(3) and (4), the list of the owners of record of surface areas to be affected
and the list of owners of record of the coal to be mined, as required in Section 2.03.4(6),
and the list of the owners of record of the surface and subsurface areas that are contiguous
to the permit area that is required in Section 2.03.4(7).
