Y <br />Year 2009 Blasting Schedule <br />Colowyo Coal Company L.P. hereby publishes the following blasting schedule for the <br />year 2009. <br />1. Identification of blasting areas: During the year 2009, blasting will be conducted <br />within the following areas: <br />All of Section 3, <br />All of Section 4, <br />All of Section 9, <br />All of Section 10, <br />SW1/4, N1/2 of Section 15, <br />All of Section 16, <br />All of Section 17, <br />All of Section 20, <br />E1/2 of Section 21, <br />UN, R93 W, 6th P.M., Moffat and Rio Blanco Counties, Colorado. <br />WI/2 of Section 34, <br />E1/2SW1/4, E1/2 of Section 33, <br />E1/2SE1/4 of Section 28, <br />W1/2, N1/2NE1/4 of Section 27, <br />E1/2W1/2,W1/2E1/2, E1/2SE1/4 of Section 22 <br />T4N, R93W, 6th P.M., Moffat County, Colorado. <br />2. Time of blast: Blasting operations will be conducted daily between sunrise and <br />sunset. <br />3. All mine roads to blast areas will be blocked at least ten minutes prior to the blast by <br />manned vehicles having radio communication with the Blasting Foreman. The blast areas <br />will be cleared by the Blasting Foreman. All mine areas are fenced for livestock. <br />4. Audible Warning Signals: <br />Before blast signal: Four series of three short sirens, then four series of three long sirens. <br />After blast all clear signal: The Blasting Foreman will check the blast and report the all <br />clear to barricade crews, followed by a single, long siren. <br />5. Blasting may not be conducted at times different from those announced in this blasting <br />schedule except in emergency situations where rain, lightning, other atmospheric <br />conditions, or Operator or public safety requires unscheduled detonation. <br />CF 4.2.3.7.1
