Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division) has received a request from <br />Battle Mountain Resources, Inc., to withdraw AM-03. Therefore, the application for AM-03 has <br />been withdrawn and the review process for AM-03 has been terminated. <br />The application for AM-03 was filed with the Division on January 1, 2008. The application <br />proposed to add 977 acres to the permit area to include the Salazar Ranch and irrigation <br />pipeline into the permit area, to utilize untreated drainage from the West Pit for irrigation water at <br />the Salazar Ranch, to modify the existing hydrologic monitoring plan, and to revise the final <br />configuration of the reclaimed tailings disposal area.
