A map is enclosed
with the highlighted area of reclamation. The high banks in this area were slope contoured. No
other new ground has been disturbed at this time. The financial warranty for the permit is
$116469.00 and the total permit area is 216.10 acres.
The following information is provided to comply with C.R.S. 34-32.5-116 or C.R.S. 34-32-116.
No new areas have been disturbed. The gravel operator has extracted gravel from previous
mined tailings. Nothing different has changed from last years report except for above mentioned
reclamation.
The gravel operator has been excavating and stockpiling silt from settling ponds as stated from
last years report.
The gravel operator plans to continue mining the northern end of the reserve area and plans to
continue some reclamation in 2009. No new disturbance is planned for this operation in the
upcoming year.
The gold mining operation has been working in ground that has already been disturbed. They
will continue to work in the same area. There could be a possibility that they might mine a small
portion of ground in 2009 that has not been disturbed. This would be in the gold mining
permitted area. The gold mining operation has not performed any reclamation in 2008 but could
possibly start some reclamation in 2009.
