The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety received your application on January 22, 2008
for transfer of the Golden Eagle Mine permit #C-81-013 from Basin Resources Inc. to New Elk
Coal Company, LLC. Your application has been found incomplete for the following reasons:
In order for Basin Resources Inc. (BRI) to continue to maintain the reclamation bond for
the permit, a written agreement between BRI and New Elk Coal Company is required.
The Division requests that this agreement be notarized by all parties. Please submit the
required agreement in accordance with Rule 2.08.6(2)(a)(ii).
2. Please provide the information required by Rule 2.08.6(2)(b)(iii).
3. Please provide a copy of the proposed public notice required by Rule 2.08.6(3)(a).
