Pond O11A As-Built Report
Introduction
This attachment presents the Pond O11A As-Built Report. The report
consists of two parts: Part I, Postmine Storage Capacity Addendum, and Part
II, Pond As-Built Report.
Part I presents updated SEDCAD demonstrations that incorporate current
(postmine) watershed conditions and hydrologic inputs. The update was
necessary to assure that the runoff demonstration for this pond is
consistent with the channel design demonstrations for Postmine Channels
YPM-9 and YPM-13, as well as, the runoff demonstration for Pond 011. Part
II presents the as-built construction documentation (dated 2004). The pond
was designed for worst case conditions (e.g., entire watershed disturbed).
The as-built documentation shows Pond 011A meets or exceeds the design and
performance requirements of the Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Board for Coal Mining.
