• Introduction
This as-built report is provided as an updated supplement to the March 2000 As-Built Report
Sedimentation Structure Pond 012. This report provides updated SEDCAD demonstrations and
curterrt elevations for the embankment, prindpal spillway and emergenry spillway.
Summary
The capacity of Sedimentation Pond is attributed partially to the embankment and partially to the
pond excavation. The embankment construction techniques and resulting stability analyses were
previously certified and have not changed. During passage of the 10-yeaz, 24hout storm event no
flow is discharged through the emergenry spillway as shown on Exhibit 13-6 and in the SEDCAD
demonstrations. The structure elevations shown on Exhibit 13-9C have been verified by physical
surveying.
Pond 012 meezs or exceeds the design and performance requirements of the DMG regulations. SCC
inspects the pond quarterly to evaluate structural integrity, storage capadty conditions, and remedial
work requirements in accordance with the approved permit conditions.
The purpose of my inspection and certification is to ensure correct and accurate spillway elevations
based on the accompanying certified SEDCAD demonstrations. To the best of my knowledge, the
field adjustments made axe in conformance with the updated designs and specifications.
•
•
Date Robert J. Shevling, CO P.E. 37382
