MANAGEMENT
Please accept this letter as the 2008 Annual Hydrology Report for the Hamilton Mine. This report is
for the 2008 calendar year.
The DRMS approved the cessation of all hydrologic monitoring through its approval of TR-07 on July
21, 1999. Therefore, the annual hydrology report was not compiled for 2008.
Sediment pond A did not discharge during the year. Sediment Pond B was drained in June. There
was no consumptive use of water during the year at the mine site.
The monitoring program includes the requirements of Colorado Discharge Permit System Industrial
General Permit Facility Number COG-850024 (CDPS Permit). Copies of Quarterly Discharge
Monitoring Reports have been provided, under separate cover, to the Division at the same schedule
required by the CDPS Permit. They are included in this report by reference.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,,
J. E.
