Sherman <br />Colorado 80601, phone (303) 668-1751, has filed a Construction Materials Regular MfEle Director <br />Ronald W. Cattany <br />Operation Reclamation Permit Application with the Colorado Division of ReclamatiOrtigon Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Mining and Safety (DRM&S) under the provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation <br />Act for the extraction of construction materials, AKA sand and gravel. The site, known <br />as Morton Lakes, is located in the southeast quarter of Section 1 and the northeast quarter <br />of Section 12 all in Township 1 North, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian in <br />Weld County, Colorado. The proposed future use of the land is wildlife habitat and <br />developed water storage. <br />Additional information and a tentative decision date may be obtained from the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety at 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, CO 80203, phone (303) 866-3567. Information is also available from the <br />applicant's representative at (303) 444-6602. A copy of the Reclamation Permit <br />Application is available for inspection at the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Weld <br />County Commissioners at 915 10th Street Greeley, Colorado 80631. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be received by the DRM&S no later than, <br />February 17, 2009, by 4:00 p.m. <br />Please note that under the provisions of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sec. Comments <br />related to noise, truck traffic, hours of operation, visual impacts, effects on property <br />values and the like are issues not subject to the jurisdiction of the DRM&S.
