our DRMS permit - and maybe attach a copy of Carl Mount's letter to show that we addressed his concerns about
the stockpiled materials.
Please note - I have been advised that there are a lot of trees and trash (including a boat) that have dammed the
river upstream of both the L. G. Everist and Bachofer properties and the bridge. If there is any flooding in our
area, it may have a lot to do with the trash and trees damming the river.
As far as a copy of the Weld County Flood Permit for L. G. Everist, Inc.'s Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel mine
which you requested (to pass on to Mr. Bachofer?), we do have a copy of the approval, however, I believe that
just sending the Weld County Flood Permit approval to Mr. Bachofer would not satisfy him. Therefore, I have
gone a step farther and have spoken with a Weld County Planner to see if Planning or other county departments
have received complaints. If there are no complaints that have not already been addressed, he will write a letter
similar to the one I have just requested of you - to just simply say that we are in compliance with our permit. (Of
course if he finds out that we need to do anything for the county permit, we'll get it done right away.) When I get
the full compliance letter from the county, I will certainly send a copy to you for your records.
Peter, you should not have to do county-permit-related things for the public, and it is not right for the public to
bother you with those requests when they can go straight to the county to get county-related information. I'm sure
you already have more than enough to do! Anyway, I wanted to tell you that you don't have to worry about the
county-related stuff - I am taking care of it and will let you know what happens.
If you have any questions, let me know. Thank you.
LYNN
Lynn Mayer Shults, Regulatory Manager - Imshults@lgeverist.com
L. G.
