Maps have been properly signed by a "qualified person", the property and miner
owner, Mr James Miner.
7. Exhibit C Pre-Mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Land
A. The topography has been added indicating the slope and direction of the
slope.
B. The location of the buffer area has been added to the maps.
8. Exhibit E - Reclamation Plan
Both items identified in the letter have been addressed in the plan and copies are
attached.
9. Reclamation Plan Map
The Map has been amended to address direction and slope of the reclaimed lands.
10. Water Information
The mining operation is completely surrounded by land, either from J & J
Concrete, the buffer area, or by areas to be mined in the future. The plan is not to
mine in the river or disturb the buffer area. The entire hydro-dredging operation is
to mine in a pond that moves through the permitted area. The pond size is not
increased because the spoils (approximately 94%) are returned to the pond, filling
in the back of the dredge.
11. Exhibit S - Permanent Man-Made Structures
The bridge over the Platte Rive (State Hwy 52) is adjacent to the east side of J & J
Concrete, which is on the east side of the amended mining site thereby creating a
buffer zone greater than 200-feet. On the southern boundary J & J Concrete also
own a strip of land 200-feet wide, thereby creating another large buffer area and
ensuring no man-made structures are within the mining site.
Thanks you for your time and consideration in this matter.
R ctfully,
James S. Miner
