These data further indicate than <br />discharges from Pond 002 are of better quality than the adjacent non-mined areas. <br />For Ponds 004 and 008, Seneca was able to locate premining baseline data. Pond 004 began discharging on July 14, <br />1982. A water quality statistics report for the baseline site, SSC6, prior to that date, is provided here on attached page 4. <br />The location of this site is shown on the two maps provided here. This baseline information indicates a mean TSS <br />concentration of 26.55 mg/l and a maximum concentration of 145 mg/L Both of the values are higher than the data <br />provided for Pond 004 in SL-3, 11.83 and 26 mg/1, respectively. These data further indicate that discharges from Pond <br />004 are of better quality than baseline data. <br />Pond 008 began discharging on February 25, 1988. A water quality statistics report for its baseline site, SSB9, prior to <br />that date, is provided here on page 5. The location of this site is shown on the two maps provided here. This report <br />indicates a mean TSS concentration of 205 mg/l and a maximum concentration of 54 mg/l. -Both of tliewalues are <br />higher than the data provided for Pond 008 in SL-3, 9.68 and 18 mg/1, respectively.
