Dear Mr. Dawson,
Listed below are the additional items and information we requested in order to complete our
adequacy review on the Glover Pit, 112(c) Conversion Application from the current I I0(c) Permit,
M-1981-138. The Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) is required to make an
approval or denial decision no later than July 11, 2008, therefore, your response to the following
adequacy review concerns should be submitted to the Division as soon as possible. Any public
comments that we receive on your application during the interim will be forwarded to you.
As required by Rule 1.6.2 (1)(g), please submit the proof of publication of the public notice
circulated in the local newspaper (once the publication requirement of one publication per
week for four consecutive weeks) has been met. Please also submit to the Division proof of
notice for any and all individual landowner(s) (in the form of return receipts of a Certified
Mailing or by proof of personal service) for all owners of record of surface and mineral
lands, easement holders, and owners of record of surface lands that are within 200 feet of the
boundary of the affected land (i.e. Ada Haddock).

were overlooked.

3. Please clarify the maximum acreage to be disturbed at any given point in time. Please be sure
that this acreage clarification is noted on all maps, as well as in the narrative of the
application.
4. Please state the owner of record for all existing permanent man-made structures (i.e. the
fence running along the eastern extent of the site, adjacent to the Haddock property). If the
owner of record for these structures differs from the owner and operator of this proposed
permit, then the following procedures must be followed:
