Fa rticle Site Oistrrbutions The particle size distribution for this sedimentation pond •
was based on sieve and hydrometer analysis of various soil types in the Yuast permit
area. This distribution is representative of the watershed for Pond 011 and based on a
weighted average. The specific gravity and the submerged bulk specific gravity of the
s osl ate estimated co be 2.50 and 1.17, respectively.
Sedimentology Size Analysis
ea rticle Size Di stribu[ionls)

Sipe
(mml NAT1
8 Finer SPL2
8 Finer
12. 7000 100.00 100
11. 2000 96.00 99.9
2. 0000 06.00 99
1. 0000 83.00 91
0. 5000 91.OJ 87
0. 25JU 80.00 B4
0. 1060 75.00 00
G. The length-slope far Fond 011 was determined to be tetween 100
and 200 feet, and the av=cage slope was determined to be 15.0 percent. Following is
I4cRoo1 et al's.
