RE FIVED <br />DEC 1 9 2008 <br />Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety <br />December 17, 2008 <br />Division of Minerals and Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, Co. 80203 <br />To Whom It Concerns: <br />This is the report for the three gravel pit operations that are permitted to Jefferson <br />County, Road & Bridge Department. <br />/Pit # M1977-245 Pine Junction Pit - This pit has limited activity with a screening plant <br />operation. The screening plant has not extended the mining area, therefore the current map in <br />your file is still correct. <br />Pit # M1980-084 Goltra Quarry - There has been no activity at this site, and there is no <br />planned activity in the future. The map on file is a current map. Jefferson County will be <br />requesting reclamation responsibility release sometime in 2009. <br />Pit # M1977-244 County Dog Pound Pit - This pit has not seen activity and is in the final <br />stages of the reclamation plan. Attached is an updated GESC plan. Jefferson County will be <br />requesting reclamation responsibility release sometime in 2009. <br />Louis Anderson, Safety Coordinator, Road & Bridge
