This configuration channels the runoff from the road surface into the west sediment pond, as
shown on the drawings by the "drainage direction" arrows. This road will be relocatedto the east,
within the disturbed active mining area, several times over the life of the mine. This road will be
removed at final reclamation and has no effect on the approved final reclamation configuration.
2. The details sketches and cross sections provide the additional descriptions and designs requested for
the west sediment pond. These drawings supplement the design data originally submitted in October
2007. Construction of the loader access ramp for cleanout of the pond and the overflow structure
will be completed as soon as possible this summer.
Please contact me at the number shown above or by email at trace unnna uslm com if you have any questions,
concerns or need additional information.
Respectfully,
Tracy Gunn, General Manager
Colorado Lime Company
r IAjdLs.
