ESTIMATED RECLAMATION ACTIVITIES
This estimate information is based on the assumption that there
will be no more that 69.00 acres ± of disturbed area needing reclama-
tion at any one time. The remainder of the disturbed area is within
the foot print of the reservoir and would need no recmlamation. The
table below outlines the various areas of disturbance and the volumes
associated with various part of the reclamation at that time. The
amount of topsoil that will be re-spread is based on an average of 6
inches. The depth of the pond is 25 feet and covers 10.1 acres and
armoring is complete on the western and southern sides so no armiring
is needed at this time. We propose using 631D motor scrapers to
resoil the area, a 140H motor grader to shape the seed bed and a D8R
to grade and slope the pond banks.
DESCRIPTION UNIT VOLUMES
Plant Site resoil, shape and
revegetate 25.00 acres
Sharkey's Lake resoil, shape
and revegetate 33.00 acres
Highlands Lake revegetate 11.00 acres
Bank armoring (per Technical
Revision ) 500 liner feet
Fresh water pond resloping 73,400 cu-yd
Fresh water pond dewatering 38,115,000 cu-ft
Topsoil haul distance, average 500 feet
Sloping push distance, average 80 feet
