NOTICE OF PERMIT REVISION R86W R85W <br />Chevron Mining Inc. (Chevron), 116 Inverness Drive <br />East, Suite 207, Englewood, CO 80112, has filed with 1 31 F32 <br />the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & <br />Safety a request for Phases I, II & III release for part <br />of a performance bond for reclaimed areas at the Edna 14 1 17 <br />Mine. 13 <br />Chevron seeks release of $313,093 from a 24 19 <br />performance bond having a total value of $3,071,961 23 <br />for areas with reclamation liability Bond Number SB-26 5 29 <br />001 covered under Permit C-80-001, issued <br />November 16, 1981. Reclamation work in the parcel <br />area for which bond release is requested includes: <br />removal of sediment ponds, regrading of the land <br />surface and drainage re-establishment. Reclamation <br />activities took place in 2003. <br />The parcel area for which bond release is requested <br />contains approximately 13.3 acres and is located in <br />Sections 17, 18, 19 & 20 T4N, R85W. The Edna <br />Mine is located 4 miles northwest of Oak Creek, <br />Colorado. The USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps <br />Oak Creek, Colorado, Cow Creek, Colorado, and <br />Rattlesnake Butte, Colorado all west of 6th P.M., <br />contain the permit area. A description of the precise <br />boundary of the permit area is found in Exhibit LOIA <br />of the Permit Application Package, and is included <br />herein by reference. <br />Landowners of record within/adjacent the bond <br />release area are: Charter Oak Coal Co. & Coloroutt <br />Coal Co., Fredrick Green Hoeptner, High Country <br />Lamb LLC, Maplewood Financial Inc., Nick A. Ross <br />& J. S. Spitzley, Thomas E. & Tamara S. Thurston <br />and Union Pacific/Rio Grande. <br />A complete copy of the Bond Release Application is <br />available for public inspection at the Routt County <br />Clerk and Recorder's Office, 522 Lincoln Avenue, <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and the offices of the 18 17 <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety <br />at the address described below.
