CURRENT TOTAL ACRES IN VARIOUS STAGES OF RECLAMATION: <br />APPROX. 24.8 <br />6. TOTAL ACRES RECLAIMED DURING REPORT YEAR: 15.3 <br />7. APPROXIMATE ACREAGE TO BE MINED IN NEXT REPORT YEAR: NONE <br />8. APPROXIMATE ACREAGE TO BE RECLAIMED IN NEXT REPORT YEAR: <br />6.2 <br />No mining during the report year was accomplished on this permit site and there will be <br />no further mining on this site as all mineable product has been processed and removed. <br />Approximately 15.3 acres were backfilled on the site around the southern edges, leaving <br />room for the future reservoir. No seeding or revegetation was implemented on this <br />permit site, as the overburden stockpile is in various stages of disturbance with the <br />subtraction of material. <br />Currently, the shop building will be left as part of the final reclamation of the site to <br />water-storage. The scale and scalehouse will be removed to another location at some <br />point in the near future. The office building (an old farmhouse) will be torn down. <br />Reclamation during the next reporting year will be implemented as continued backfill <br />around the edges of the mined area. <br />Per the requirements of this permit, attached are groundwater-monitoring results for the 2 <br />monitoring wells located on the permit area that we are still monitoring. Because backfill <br />has occurred around the southern edges, inflowing groundwater has been sealed out and <br />water levels have returned to normal elevations. We will continue to monitor the wells <br />on a sporadic basis.
