Nichols, SHPO) to our
previous correspondence regarding the activities proposed by Bowie Resources, LLC,
(BRL) at the Bowie No. 1 Mine in Delta County. Mr. Nichols' letter requested that,
"Prior to ground-disturbing activities an inventory for cultural resources should be
conducted in this area by a qualified professional and the results provided to our office
for review and comment."
BRL has provided our office with information prepared in response to the Mr. Nichols'
request. A copy of the completed Limited-Results Cultural Resource Survey Form (and
attached pages) is hereby included for your review and comment.
Please review the enclosed information, and determine whether or not it adequately
addresses the concerns of your office. Thank-you in advance for your time.
Sincerely,
e'
Marcia L.
