The TR was submitted by Everist Materials, LLC on behalf of the permittee,
Snowstorm Sand and Gravel, LLC. This TR allowed a small concrete plant and portable
asphalt plant. At that time the applicant stated that an Amendment to the mining and
reclamation plans would be submitted to the DRMS in February 2008.
The applicant filed a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application to Park County on
February l6, 2007. The County Commissioners denied the application on October 4,
2007; therefore, the concrete and asphalt plants will not be placed on the property. At
this time the applicant has no intention of re-applying to the County and seeking
approval for the plants.
The permittee/operator does plan to continue mining the property under the existing
permit and will postpone submitting a permit Amendment. This letter is written on behalf
of our client, Everist Materials, LLC as the operator for Snowstorm Sand and Gravel,
LLC pen-nittec:).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
rely,
ri
?
