Reclamation Plan Map.
We have enclosed two large copies of each (24"x36") for the acreage release request.
As we recently discussed, L. G. Everist, Inc. will submit a Technical Revision at a later date to update the
reclamation plan for any slight changes to slurry wall, pipeline, and topsoil pile placement.
During the site inspection on January 3, 2008, concrete piles were noted on site. I mentioned that the
concrete is collected, recycled and sold to off-site buyers. I also mentioned that it may be used as backfill
material for French Drains or slopes. 1 was incorrect about the backfill use. I have spoken with the site
superintendent, and a division manager, and found out that the concrete will only be recycled and sold. It
will not be used as backfill - we actually have more than enough natural material on site to use for our
backfill and sloping needs. In the future, if we change our minds and want to begin using concrete as
backfill material, we will submit the information required in Rule 3.1.5 (9) of the Construction Materials
Rules and Regulations for the Division's review and approval.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 303-286-2247 or via email at
Imshults@lgeverist.com.
