Inc.
Permit No. M-2006-039 North Clear Creek Construction Materials Mine
Garfield County Colorado
Dear Mr. Dupler:
In accordance with the regulations of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Chevron
U.S.A. Inc. hereby files its annual report and annual fee for the subject mine.
Preceding Year
The North Clear Creek Construction Materials Mine was opened in March 2008 with construction
materials being removed every month from that point forward. As of the end of November 2008,
137,980 tons or 186,273 cubic yards of material have been removed. No reclamation activities
occurred during the year as the area is relatively small and the mine is active. A noxious weed
control program was started and storm water management monitored. The mine was inspected by
Travis Marshall with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, on October 10, 2008. The
mine passed inspection. A check in the amount of $323.00 for the annual fee, along with a map of
the current mine showing the disturbed areas are enclosed.
Uvcomine Year
For the upcoming year the mine will continue to be utilized, as needed, for construction activities
within Chevron's project area to build roads and locations. The amount of material currently
estimated to be removed is 56,000 tons or 75,000 cubic yards. Reclamation activities are planned
to start in the second quarter of 2009. The open areas of the mine will continue to be monitored for
noxious weeds and storm water management.
