directly into ore trucks for shipping to a mill. The ore trucks will be subcontracted 20-ton
covered end dumps which can drive up the existing road to the ore body for loading by the
excavator or loader. When all the surface ore is removed, the waste rock will be contoured to a
natural slope across the disturbed area; the limited topsoil replaced, and re-vegetated.
The second phase of operations for the permit will be exploratory in nature. Exploration
boreholes will be drilled on existing roads and trails throughout the permit area to evaluate
subsurface ore potential. Concurrently, select workings and adits will be investigated to evaluate
the feasibility of using them to access underground ore in the southern part of the permit area and
adjacent claims. Examining these historic mines will allow estimates of remaining ore reserves
in the immediate area. Based upon the results of these exploration efforts, the Monogram Mine
permit will be amended to include any additional surface or underground mining plans.
All of the permit area is privately owned land established by patented mining claims. Less than
5 acres of the permit area will be disturbed including equipment parking areas, ore bins, office
and storage facilities. Most of the work, drilling, etc. will be conducted using existing roads and
trails.
The permittee for this site is Nuvemco, LLC. The name hereinafter in this application will be
Nuvemco.
Monogram Mine - November 2008
Introduction - 2
