OBSERVATIONS
This, inspection was conducted by Michael Cunningham of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
Wayne Brantely of;Proneer. Sand Company, Inc. was.present during the inspection. The Ingleside Quarry is
located approximately 5-miles south of Livermore, CO in Larimer County. The site is permitted-for. 86 acres
with a'maximum allowed disturbance of 21 -acres at any, given time.
All operations and conditions at the -site appeared to be in compliance with regulations. and within-the
parameters of the mine ;plane. The.perinit_ sign and boundarymarkers were posted in accordance with Rule
13..J.12.. All mining disturbance was within the permit boundary. No mining activities were:taking place at the
time of the inspection. Mining is progressing from north to south along the hogback ridge-,, with--the removal of
material proceeding east to west. Mining activities are to remain 50 feet or greater from the'top of the ridge. A
,.visual. inspection confirmed-that the Operator has maintained a 50 foot buffer between. the'top of the ridge and
.`the western edge of the excavation. At the north end of the ridge, the Operator has reclaimed several :acres of the
bench area by filling the benches in with fines. The Division currently holds a financial warranty in;the amount
of $60,200; this amount is adequate to complete reclamation.
The disturbed area was not. measured during this inspection. However, a visual estimate corif rms that-the total
disturbed area is less than 21 acres.- The mine face appeared to be stable and did not show 'any signs. of-erosion.
Pre-law disturbance is evident in, the area directly to the south of the active mining area. These old' quarry sites
have reclaimed themselves'to an extent and have established native vegetation growing throughout.
This concluded the inspection.
cc: r CE
F BC
F FS
r HW
r HMWMD.
