This revision cannot be approved until the following <br />remaining issues are adequately addressed. Please submit a response to the following issues as soon as possible, but no <br />later than December 18, 2007 so the decision due date set for December 20, 2007 can be met. If your response or a <br />written extension request are not received by December 18, 2007, this application may be denied <br />ADEQUACY COMMENTS <br />1. Response acceptable. <br />2. Response acceptable. Please indicate measures to be taken to keep irrigation water flowing into the current Phase V <br />wetlands to maintain the wetland hydrology. Please contact the Army Corps of Engineers if proposed plans fall <br />within their jurisdiction. <br />3. Response acceptable. <br />4. Response acceptable. <br />5. Response acceptable. <br />6. Response acceptable. <br />7. Please revise the revegetation plan to account for the large wetland area covering the upper end of the pit floor. A <br />diverse seed mix of wetland and riparian vegetation is recommended. <br />8. Please provide the additional construction and sizing specifications for the sediment pond specified below. <br />a. Please provide engineered designs for the sediment pond armored discharge including reclamation plans and <br />costs. <br />b. Please provide details about the pit dewateririg pump system including location of pump in relation to <br />high water level, intake and discharge pipe sizing (or is the pump discharge to the sediment pond via <br />ditch?). <br />c.
