Lastly, Elam Construction and XTO have been discussing the possibility of removing
the existing underground gas pipelines from their current location within the amended
affected area. New lines would be constructed at the southern boundary of the subject
property. While final agreement has not been reached at this time, it is anticipated that
work could begin in 2008.
This possibility would allow the applicant to mine through the gas pipeline easements
once the lines have been removed. This would precipitate revisions to the mining plan
as submitted. The applicant will provide you with these revisions and details of the
final agreement in terms of alignment and work schedules when they become
available.
Please contact me with any questions or comments you may have.
Sincerel ,
Matt Carnahan
Consulting Agent for Elam Construction, Inc.
encl.
xc w/encl: Gayle Lyman, Elam Const.
Matt Carnahan - 15 W.
