RECLAMATION PLAN REVISIONS <br />1. General Reclamation Plan <br />Reclamation will occur concurrently with mining, with each mined out phase being reclaimed <br />once operations commence in the next phase. The exception to this plan is phase 1, which will <br />not be reclaimed until the end of phase 3. This is due to the presence of the crusher and screener <br />equipment along with various stockpiles. At the start of phase 4, the mobile crusher and screener <br />will be moved into phase 3 to be closer to the mining slope, and allow the reclamation of phase <br />1. The pit access ramp will remain at its location at the west edge of phase 3 throughout the <br />mine's life. This allows access to the pit and highwall without any new road disturbance. <br />All mining slopes will be reclaimed to 3H: IV down to a point 10 feet below the water line, and <br />2H:1 V from there to the bottom. The amount of unreclaimed 2H:1 V mine slope that can be <br />present at any one time is approximately 3000 linear feet. Overburden on site is estimated at 3 to <br />6 feet deep, and therefore will be sufficient to reclaim the slopes. Topsoil will be laid to a depth <br />of 8 inches. The topsoil is estimated at 12 to 18 inches deep along phases 2, 3, & 4, allowing <br />more than enough for reclamation. In cases where mining took place to a vertical slope, added <br />backfill will be necessary to achieve the final slopes. This area will be backfilled to the final <br />slope as overburden is encountered. As oft the technical revision of September 2007, the <br />backfilling of this area is accounted for in the bond. No future mining of near vertical slopes is <br />allowed. Again, overburden occurs on site in sufficient quantities to achieve all backfilling. <br />Revegetation at the Tri County Pit will proceed according to the existing plan approved by <br />DRMS. <br />Tri County Technical Revision Sept 07 5
