€c? OFFICE of ARCHAEOLOGY and HISTORIC PRESERVATION
November 13, 2007 RECEIVED
Deb E. U
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: E-470 Public Highway Authority, Henderson Development (Permit No. M-1980-110)
(CHS #51214)
Dear Ms. Gonima:
Thank you for your correspondence dated October 31, 2007 (received by our office on November 5)
regarding the project referenced above.
A search of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory indicated that the proposed permit area
amendment has been previously surveyed for historic architectural resources but not archaeological
resources. As a result, there is the possibility that as yet unidentified cultural resources exist within the
permit area. One architectural site was documented in this area and determined not eligible for the
National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
Should human remains be discovered during mining activities, the requirements under State law CRS
24-80 part 13 apply and must be followed.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment. If we may be of further assistance, please contact Greg
Wolff, Compliance Coordinator, at (303) 866-4674.
Sincerely,
/-M Ov
-drGeorgianna Contiguglia
State Historic Preservation Officer
GC/GAW
• •? ?•
-11 IN •3 •
1300 BROADWAY DENVER COLORADO 80203 TEL 303/866-3395 FAx 303/866-2711 www.coloradohistory-oahp.org
