EXHIBIT D <br />HINDS Pit #35: <br />Mining Plan <br />a. Material will be moved by front-end loaders and trucks; a bulldozer will be used in location where loader is <br />impractical due to loose footing. <br />b. The overburden will be moved by front-end loader and bulldozer and stockpiled for use in reclamation. <br />c. There will be no water diversions and impoundment's necessary at this pit, all dikes and berms will be for <br />safety and erosion control. <br />d. The area to be disturbed at any one time should not exceed 10 acres. <br />e. 1. Mining will start with this permit and continue sporadically during the years as required. <br />2. Reclamation will be on going as the site is mined <br />3. The active area in the Southwest comer will be continued until exhausted <br />4. Active mining will move to South and to the East corner of site and reclamation will begin in the exhausted <br />area. <br />5. Then pull 6 inches of topsoil from stockpile at pit. <br />6. Reclamation will proceed as mining moves to the North and to the East with topsoil stored on-site to be <br />planted with native grasses with ground sloped'V:1 or flatter where necessary. <br />f. 1. Material to be mined is gravel and sand of varying depth with none to 3 feet of topsoil overburden. <br />2. Straight below material is rock and will not be disturbed. <br />S. The primary commodity will be gravel for use as road surfacing and the secondary commodity will be clay for <br />use as roadbed materials. <br />h. There will be no refuse, acid or toxic producing materials exposed during mining.
