The <br />purpose of the Technical Revision is to decrease the size of the overall permit boundary to be consistent <br />with the Use by Special Review Application that we are currently finalizing with Weld County. In <br />addition, the Technical Revision provides the DRMS with a map of the most current mining and <br />reclamation plans as most of the mining cells had to be adjusted as a result of negotiations with Oil and <br />Gas Companies on future drilling sites. Based on our records, the current permit area is 1,231 acres <br />containing 668 affected acres. Following this Technical Revision, the permit area will total 1,117± acres <br />and contain 601± affected acres. <br />The attached maps illustrate the new boundary for the Riverbend Operation and the most current versions <br />of the mining (Attachment A) and reclamation (Attachment B) plans.
