Permit Revision No. 11, Northern Extension of B-Seam Mine Plan, Cultural Resource Inventory
Dear Mr. Wolff:
In a letter dated February 20, 2008 from the Colorado Historical Society (CHS) to the Colorado Division
of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division), the CHS requested that a cultural resources inventory be
conducted as part of the adequacy review of Permit Revision No. 11 for the Bowie No. 2 Mine,
The Division has received such an inventory entitled "A Class III Cultural Resource Inventory for a
Proposed Lease Modification Area" dated July 2, 2008 from the mine operator. Attached is a copy of the
report. The Division requests that the CHS review this inventory report and provide written comments to
the Division concerning the report's adequacy and conclusion.
