Mining will take place on the lower <br />bench that was previously sloped. Remedial grading and <br />shaping was done on the overburden pile stored along the <br />farm road (tan). This pile will be used to create the mine <br />slopes when reclamation begins of the south face area. <br />The berm material placed along County Road 335 remains <br />unchanged (blue). Once complete this berm will be <br />revegetated and will remain when mining ends. The sloping <br />completed to date covers 1.46 acres on the east side of the <br />mine. The triangular area east of the farm road has been <br />resoiled. The processing area covers 3.05 acres ±. <br />BOND REVIEW: <br />The bond is currently set at $17,300 for disturbance on the <br />entire area. This bond was reevaluated in 2003 by the Division <br />to determine if it was adequate.
