Cattany <br />, Division Director <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Colowyo Mine C-1981-019 <br />Outstanding Revisions <br />Dear Mr. Tonozzi: <br />The following is a list of the outstanding revisions at the Colowyo Mine and their current <br />status. <br />Permit Renewal 05 - The Division has received Colowyo's responses to the third <br />adequacy review and is in the process of reviewing the responses. The proposed decision <br />date is 28 November 2008. <br />Technical Revision 72 - This revision is the new reclamation plan. The Division has <br />received Colowyo's responses to the second adequacy review and is in the process of <br />reviewing the responses. The proposed decision date has passed. Please request a 60-day <br />extension. <br />Technical Revision 73 - This revision is a request to change the SEDCAD curve <br />numbers. The Division sent Colowyo a preliminary adequacy letter on 12 June 2008 and <br />is awaiting responses from Colowyo. The proposed decision date is 28 November 2008. <br />Technical Revision 74 - This revision is the as-built maps and reports for the West <br />Taylor and Section 28 Ponds. The Division sent Colowyo a preliminary adequacy letter <br />on 29 September 2008 and is awaiting responses from Colowyo. The proposed decision <br />date is 28 November 2008. <br />There are also two Technical Revisions that Colowyo has committed to submitting to the <br />Division. The first revision is a short-term reclamation plan for the East Pit, due on or <br />before 24 December 2008. The second revision is a long-term reclamation plan for the <br />East Pit, including final pit closure, due no later than 31 March 2009. <br />Finally, the Division is requesting a revision for the backfilling and regrading in the West <br />Pit.
