This is an increase
of $32,989 over the existing Financial Warranty of $39,750.
Because the deadline for submittal of the increased Financial Warranty has passed, if the amount due of
$32,989.00 is not received by 31 January 2008, the Division will be forced to take the case before the Mined Land
Reclamation Board as a violation of Rule 4.2.1 of the Rules and Regulations. Failure to maintain the Financial
Warranty at a level which reflects the actual current cost of fulfilling the requirements of the Reclamation Plan is
punishable by revocation of the permit.
Please contact Elizabeth Taliaferro in our office at 303-866-4084 if you need any assistance or have any questions
regarding the bond increase.
If you have any questions, you may call me at (303) 866-3567.
Sincerely,
David A.
