Division Director <br />Sedalia, CO 80135 Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Oaklands Ranch Gravel - Oaklands Ranch Gravel Pit, Conversion Application, Permit No.: M-1989-092y <br />Douglas County; Completeness Review j -N '- <br />Dear Mr. Curtis: <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining, & Safety (DRMS) has performed an initial completeness review for the <br />application package for the Oaklands Ranch Gravel - Oaklands Ranch Gravel Pit located in Douglas County. <br />The following items must be provided before DRMS can designate the application as complete and filed. <br />Application Form <br />In the main application form, on page 5 under the section entitled Responsibilities as Permittee, the applicant must read <br />and initial each of the ten requirements listed. <br />Rule 1.6.2(1): Posting of Notice <br />Pursuant to Rule 1.6.2(1), the applicant must certify that he has posted a sign containing the above notice for the <br />proposed permit area. The form was included in the application package but was not completed. <br />Rule 6.4.10: Exhibit J - Vegetation Information <br />DRMS was unable to locate in the application the items required under Rule 6.4. 1 0(1)(a), 6.4.10(1)(b), and 6.4.10(1)(c). <br />Please provide this information or indicate where in the application the information can be found. <br />Rule 6.4.16: Exhibit P - Municipalities Within Two Miles <br />In accordance with Rule 6.4.16, Applicant must provide the address of the general office of each municipality located <br />within two miles of the proposed mining operation. Please provide the address for the general office of the town of <br />Castle Rock. <br />Rule 6.4.17: Exhibit O - Proof of Mailing of Notices to Board of County Commissioners and Soil Conservation District <br />In accordance with Rule 6.4.17, Applicant must provide proof that notices have been mailed to the Board of County <br />Commissioners, and the Board of Supervisors of the local Soil Conservation District if the mining operation will be <br />within the boundaries ofa Soil Conservation District. <br />Office of Office of <br />Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
