The annual coverage rate will be calculated
based on the average nitrogen content of the mixture.
Chemistry
Sodium Adsorption Ratio
A data summary for the Sodium Adsorption Ratio for potential biosolids mixtures to be
land applied to the Robinson Tailing Impoundment is provided in Appendix B. For each
of the mixtures, the Sodium Adsorption Ratio is well below levels that would limit
revegetation success.
Chemistry of Robinson Tailing Impoundment Rock Cap
The chemical analysis of Robinson Tailing Impoundment rock cap material is provided in
Appendix C.
Chemistry of Biosolids
Chemical analysis reports for biosolids to be land applied at the Robinson Tailing
Impoundment are provided in Appendix D. The Metals Based Classification of
Biosolids, Pathogen Destruction Criteria, and Vector Attraction Reduction Criteria will be
• met prior to delivery to Climax. In addition, Climax will test the biosolids mixture prior to
annual application.
Sampling and Monitoring
Monitoring and analysis for this biosolids program is a cooperative effort between the
producers and Climax Mine in accordance with 5 CCR 1002-19, 4.9.16.A and B.
