NOTICE OF AUTHORIZATION Part I <br /> FOR Page 1 of 5 <br /> THE USE AND DISTRIBUTION OF BIOSOLIDS CDPH&E BMP#0834 <br /> PURSUANT <br /> to the provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act, Section 25-8-501 C.R.S., (1989 Repl. Vol. 11A and 1993 <br /> Supp.) and the Colorado Biosolids Regulation (5CCR 1002-19, 4.9.0), this Notice of Authorization For The Use and <br /> Distribution of Biosolids, authorizes the Breckenridge Sanitation District,the Copper Mountain Water and Sanitation <br /> District, the Frisco Sanitation District, the Dillon/Silverthorne Joint Authority, Summit County Snake River <br /> Wastewater Treatment Plant and Climax Molybdenum Company to land apply biosolids for beneficial purposes to the <br /> property described below: <br /> Robinson Tailing Site;Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Biosolids Management Program Notice ID <br /> #0834; located in portions of Sections 27, 34 and 35, Township 7 South, Range 79 West and <br /> portions of Sections 2 &3, Township 8 South, Range 79 West; Summit County; as shown on attachment. <br /> APPLICATION <br /> shall be performed in accordance with applicable criteria of the Biosolids Regnla ion, (5 CCR 1002-19, 4.9.0) unless a <br /> variance has been issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division <br /> in compliance with the requirements of 5 CCR 1002-19, Section 4.9.6. The permittee is responsible for the identification <br /> of and compliance with any applicable criteria contained in the Biosolids Re elation (5CCR 1002-19,4.9.0). <br /> SHORT TERM STORAGE <br /> of biosolids may be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the Biosolids Regulation, (5 CCR 1002-19,4.9.13.F). <br /> Storage of biosolids of less than fourteen percent solids content or storage of any biosolids for a period of greater than <br /> fourteen days must be approved by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control <br /> Division,as specified in Part 1I,Special Conditions,of this Notice of Authorization for the Use and Distribution of Biosolids. <br /> MONITORING <br /> shall be performed for the parameters identified and at the frequencies specified per the Biosolids Regulation (5CCR 1002-19, <br /> Sections 4.9.16.A and B). Additional monitoring requirements may be specified in Part II, Special Conditions, of this Notice <br /> of Authorization for the Use and Distribution of Biosolids. <br /> REPORT SUBMITTAL <br /> shall be made to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment per the requirements of the Biosolids <br /> Regulation, (5 CCR 1002-19, 4.9.17 B). <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> are attached,as deemed by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Water Quality Control Division to <br /> be necessary to assure compliance with applicable criteria of the Biosolids Re ila ion, (5 CCR 1002-19,4.9.0). <br />
