e <br /> Summit County, Snake River Wastewater Treatment Plant <br /> Climax Mine/MaYflower Tailing Deposition Area <br /> CDH MSMP # 0405 <br /> Portions of Sections 13, 14 & 24, Township 7 South, Range 79 West <br /> Summit County <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> This Notice of Authorization to Apply Domestic Sewage Sludge allows the <br /> application of sludge from the Summit County, Snake River Wastewater Treatment <br /> Plant to the Climax Mine/Mayflower Tailing Deposition Area at a rate not to <br /> exceed 20.0 dry tons of sludge ,per year for the initial (1990) application. <br /> Subsequent application to newly reclaimed areas shall be adjusted based upon <br /> updated sludge and soils analyses._ Subsequent maintenance -applications shall <br /> not exceed 66 pounds per acre of plant available nitrogen. <br /> Cumulative sludge application shall not exceed 60 dry tons per acre (based <br /> upon an average sludge copper content of 1,042 parts per million) . This <br /> cumulative limit may be revised based upon updated sludge analyses indicating <br /> a significant increase or decrease in sludge copper content. <br /> Post-application site monitoring shall be performed as described in section <br /> 14.D and. 14.E of the Colorado Domestic Sewage Sludge Regulations (5CCR 1003-7, <br /> 1986) . Where vegetative growth after the initial growing season is <br /> insufficient to provide a five pound per acre composite plant tissue sample, a <br /> lesser weight composite may be analyzed or plant tissue analysis may be <br /> delayed until the compltetion of the second growing season. <br />
