TECHNICAL REVISION
Ruby Trust Mine
Permit NO. M-1979-181
Mount Sneffels Mining Company, LLC.
is requesting a technical revision to Permit
No. M-1979-181, the Ruby Trust Mine. A crushing
area has been added to the area just outside the
underground mill ( see attached surface plan map).
This location has been used as a crushing area by
the previous owner; Walker Mining, during the mid
1980's
No ore will be stockpiled on the surface at this
crushing location. The crushing operations include
a concrete foundation with jaw and conecrushers,
sizing screens, and conveyors. All ore is crushed
and conveyed underground for mechanical classification
and precious metal recovery. Tailings will be placed
underground in an old stope. Tailings will be de-
watered with the water returned to the milling
process.
When mining is completed and reclamation begins
the crushing equipment and foundation will be re-
moved. The area will be recontoured and seeded
according to the original reclamation plan.
