<br />filed a complete application for
<br />a Technical Revision (TR-111)to
<br />MCC's Mining and Reclamation
<br />Permit No. C-80.007 with the
<br />Colorado Mined Land Reclama-
<br />tion Act of 1979. The permit was
<br />originally Issued by the Board In
<br />July 1961, and subsequently re-
<br />newed in August 1986, January
<br />1993,(Effective August 1991),
<br />July 1996, July 2001, and Febru-
<br />ary 13, 2007.The current
<br />five-year permit term expires
<br />February 13, 2012. The West Elk
<br />Mine five-year pormit area con-
<br />tains lends in Sections 9.11,
<br />13-36, T 13 S, R90W, 6th PM;
<br />and Sections 23.26, T13 South,
<br />R91W,.6th PM, and'Sections 1.5,
<br />8.12, TUS, R90 W, 6th PM in
<br />Delta and Gunnison Counties.
<br />The location of the lands can be
<br />found on the USGS 7.5 minute
<br />Panel E 1 Methane Drainage
<br />Weiss on Federal Lease No.
<br />C-1362. The revision would al-
<br />low for 14 MOW pads and 1.52
<br />miles of associated US FS
<br />low-volume roads. This techni-
<br />cal revision will not result in any
<br />Increase in production above
<br />currently permitted levels. This
<br />technical revision would in-
<br />crease the surface disturbed
<br />area by approximately 10 acres
<br />in Sections 27, 28, 34, and 35,
<br />T13S, R90W, 6th PM. Copies of I

<br />cation of this notice in.order to
<br />be considered. If a public.hear-
<br />ing is requested, Itt would be
<br />-held at a location in the area of
<br />the proposed operations.
