EXHIBIT H
Wildlife Information
The project area was surveyed for general wildlife habitat by Ecological Resource Consultants
(ERC). A wildlife memo from ERC is attached which describes the wildlife habitat present on the
site and the common species that may be found in the habitat area.
ERC also screened the project area for threatened, endangered, and species of concern. They
found that migratory birds, which are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, exist in the
area but are unlikely to nest in the project area due to the ongoing agricultural activities. GP
Ranches, LLC. will have the project area surveyed for active nesting sites if any disturbance of
the project area is expected to occur during the primary eastern Colorado nesting season (April
1 to August 15), per US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) recommendations.
No threatened or endangered species populations protected under the Endangered Species Act
were identified directly in the project area.
No State endangered or threatened species, protected by the Colorado Division of Wildlife
(CDOW) under Colorado Statute Title 33, were identified as potentially inhabiting or nesting
within the Study Area.
Attached is ERC's screening report of threatened, endangered, and species of concern, and a
letter from the USFWS with their comments on the report.
4 0 GP Ranches, LLC.
' JaT Consulting, Inc.
