(hereafter called the peT•mittee) is hereby granted use of the following road(s) or road segments:
Forest Road No. 710 (Minnesota Creek Rd) From Forest Boundary to Lick Creek = 2.0 miles
Forest Road No. 711 (Dry Fork of Minnesota Creek Rd) From FR # 710 to FR # 711.3B = 5.5 nines
Forest Road No. 711.1A (West Flatiron Rd) From FR # 711.2B to FR# 711.A2{Long Draw Saddle Rd) 2.2 miles
Forest Road No. 711.2A (Deer Creek Rd) From FR # 711 South 1.0 mile
Forest Road No. 711.2B (Horse Gulch Rd) From FR # 711 to FR #7 11.1A = 0.6 nines

Total miles of Forest Road use authorized by this permit =15.3 miles on the Gmuuson National Forest, subject to the provisions of
this permit including clauses 1 tlu•ough 20, on page(s) 1 tluough 7 for the purpose of drilling and maintaining Methane drainage
wells, exploration drilling, and subsequent reclamation activities.
The exercise of any of the privileges granted in this permit constitutes acceptance of all the conditions of the permit.
1. INVESTMENT SHARING RATES. The rate for sharing under this permit is N/A.
2-1. WORK REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE PERMITTED USE. In accordance with this use, the permittee shall perform the
work described below and in accordance with plans and specifications attached hereto:
• permittee is required to perform all Construction, Reconshliction, Maintenance, and Reclamation work related to improvements in
accordance with the approved Amiual Operating Plan (AOP). Maintenance requirements are detailed on the supplemental pages
attached to this permit. Construction and Reconstruction will be preformed under plans and specifications approved, in writing, by
the Paonia District Ranger.
WORK PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE: Work shall be performed in accordance with the AOP. Worlc not outlined in the AOP
will be approved by the Paoiua District Ranger, in writing, prior to cotmnencement and completed prior to October 1" of each year.
The Paonia District Ranger must approve any changes or additions to the AOP before laic{ use may commence.
2-2. COOPERATIVE WORK. Although not required to acconunodate the use herein pernutted, it is desirable tip the f=orest tiers ice
and the permittee to have certain construction or reconshuction work accomplished coincident to use of the road. I he permittee shall
perform the work described below in accordance with plans and specifications attached hereto.
Any cooperative work will be included in the AOP or approved, ui writing, by the Paonia District Ranger after agreement between
the U.S. Forest Service and Mountain Coal Company.
2-3. CASH DEPOSITS REQUIRED IN LIEU OF WORK PERFORMANCE. The pernuttee will deposit $N/A with the Forest
Service on or before N/A. The amount deposited will be credited to the share to be borne by the pernuttee.
2-4. COST RECOVERY. In consideration for this use, the permittee shall deposit with the Forest Service the sum of $ N/A (and
thereafter in individual deposits, eguivalen.t to estimated chmges before nee payment is made, as called.for by the Fore.ti~ Seri~icc> in
advance of current road use). * When preferred by a pernuttee, a payment guarantee may be furnished in lieu of advance deposits.
This permit is accepted subject to all of its terms and conditions.
